I have been teaching Pilates for 10 years, and fitness for over 25 years, in that time I’ve seen first hand how transformational it can be.
Let me tell you a story about a recent client of mine, Kath.
I first met Kath on the Plant Medicine course that I’ve been attending. I saw that she used a walking stick, and just a random conversation I told her that she should start coming to Pilates to see if it could help with her knees.
Kath started coming to the Monday session about 9 weeks ago. When she first came, she couldn’t get onto the floor for the mat based exercises so I gave her exercises from seated in a chair or standing. I also gave her homework to help build some strength in her legs and knees.
Over the past 9 weeks, not only has she lost a stone and a half in weight, but she’s feeling loads better and, the best part, she doesn’t need her stick to walk anymore.

I’m not talking about hours in a gym or a calorie restricted diet, Kath has achieved all of this with ONE enjoyable class per week, and a few exercises incorporated into her everyday routine.

It’s not all about the aesthetics, it’s about the deep healing that movement can bring, the improved blood flow to all of your body, the improvement in your joint health, the reduction of pain and so much more.

You don’t have to live a life of pain and worry whether you’ll be able to get to places, whether you’ll need the toilet at a moment’s notice, or whether you can get in and out of a car comfortably. Your world can open up!
You too can achieve what Kath has, without injections, pain killers and medications that can have all sorts of serious side effects. You just need to give yourself time, space and have a good teacher (hello!).
If you’d like to come to classes, you can attend online or in-person at my studio. All classes need to be booked via my website www.organicpilates.co.uk/book-a-class.
You can either pay as you go (not many teachers offer this option), or book a monthly pass (buy these in the the ‘shop’ section on website).
If you buy a monthly pass it does make the sessions cheaper, but you need to ensure that you use up your classes in the month, and you still need to reserve your space at the class using the £0 option on the booking link.
