Then let 2018 be the year that you make that change and start to learn how to properly move and strengthen your body by learning Pilates. This 5-week course will take you from being an absolute beginner, to starting to make the foundations upon which you can build your true strength. Focusing on your ‘inner core’ you will be taught how to correctly engage your deep core muscles from which you can then start to build your true strength, and thus start to eliminate pain by improving your posture, alignment and breathing.
Pilates is also great for stress reduction and improving focus and concentration. For the one hour session, you will be totally focused upon you and your body. Small class sizes will ensure that you get proper attention.
Losing weight and increasing muscle tone, are a happy by-product of Pilates, and once you join with us, you will have access to our ‘Tribe’ our private Facebook group – whereby we set regular health and fitness challenges, and you will get food and recipe ideas.
We offer an holistic approach to health and wellbeing, not just your once a week class!
This class will be taught by one of our fabulous instructors Sarah, in the beautiful studio at ‘The Old Rectory’ in Willington, which is also the home of top physiotherapist, Gordon Ellis. If you have any worries about whether joining a class is for you Gordon will be happy to give your a full assessment and offer you advice. Maybe combine your Pilates session with a Physiotherapy session or massage?
