Soothing Sundays – Gentle Mobilisations, Deep Releasing & Breathwork

 

Introducing ‘Soothing Sundays’ – these sessions will be perfect for you if you are in chronic pain, recovering from an injury or have long term health conditions which prevent you from attending regular exercise classes.

We’ll begin with gentle standing postural work, shoulder mobility and lower spine releasing. Then we’ll progress to the mat for gentle mobility of all the joints, stretching and releasing any tightness that we find along the way.

The session will finish with some focused Breathwork to reduce inflammation, and a deep meditation.

These sessions will be designed to soothe joint pain, release tightness and we’ll be tuning into your body to ask what it needs. You will be fully in control at all times.

You will leave feeling lighter, more at ease and more able to move.

Who are these sessions designed for;

  • If you are suffering from chronic pain
  • If you need time out just for yourself to tune into your body and needs
  • If you’ve got a long term condition that means you cannot come to regular classes
  • If you’ve lost your confidence around exercise and what to feel what it’s like to be in a group exercise situation again
  • If you can’t get to regular classes
  • If you just need to slow down
  • If you need to rebuild your mobility after an injury
  • If you’ve recently had chemotherapy or are in the process of receiving chemotherapy
  • If you’ve got long covid and want to feel your way back into exercise

We’ll be taking it really slowly, taking the time to breathe into each mobilisation and stretch, and practicing some deep breathing and meditation.

Suitable for beginners too.

Please note that there is a small set of stairs to the studio, so you must be able to climb stairs safely, and to be able to get up and down from the floor (there are fixed barres to hold onto).

Any cancellations within 48 hours of the session will not be refunded or rescheduled.
