If you know me you will know that I always love to be learning new things and skills – it’s part of what makes me happy.
I have been learning how to lead a Yoga Nidra session and I’d love to invite you to a free online session that I’m going to hold on the Winter Solstice – the deep mid winter. We are going to give ourselves the gift of Christmas Presence and the true meaning of deep winter is to rest and recooperate.
Yoganidra, also known as Yoga Nidra or Yogic Sleep, is a powerful relaxation and meditation practice from the yogic tradition. It is a state of deep relaxation where the practitioner remains conscious and aware while entering a state between sleep and wakefulness.
During a Yoga Nidra session, you will be lying down in a comfortable position and following the guidance. The practice involves a systematic rotation of awareness through different parts of the body, leading to a deep physical and mental relaxation.
Yoga Nidra is known to promote physical relaxation, reduce stress and anxiety, improve sleep quality, enhance focus and concentration, and promote overall well-being. It is often used as a tool for deep healing, self-exploration, and personal transformation.
