Today I want to talk to you about energy, here’s a definition taken from the dictionary;

“Energy is your capacity to do things or make things happen. It can be found in many forms, heat, light, sound, electricity, motion and chemical reactions. Energy can be transformed from one form to another, but it can never be created or destroyed, only transferred from one system to another.”

How are you feeling energetically?

Normally, I’m all good in this area, but this week I’ve been feeling a bit off kilter – like something is draining my energy. I’m told there are lots of astronomical things going on, solar flares and Earth energy. The thing is when you become attuned to your energy, you tune into the energy of others, the environment and the universe.

I’m very protective around my own energy, I do lots of things to cultivate it, notice how the definition states ‘it can never be created’, but you can draw energy into your body, and one of the best ways to do this, is via the breath and via movement.

This morning I’ve just done a beautiful ‘Ball of Positive Energy’ QiGong flow – and I’m now feeling charged like a battery. I’ve cleared any hooks that were drawing from me, and I’ve fully cleared any blocks. I know this sounds very woo woo, but this stuff is ancient and it works.

In fact, the more I train and work with the physical body, the more I realise that the spiritual body is the driver, that’s where your energy (or Chi, Prana, Qi) comes from. It’s what makes us feel alive, in Chinese medicine you Qi is your vitality. I love this, how do you create more vitality in your life? Qi builds when you are resting and relaxing.

In order to relax and cultivate your Qi, you must first pull, push, twist and bend your body whilst activating your breath, this is push the energy into your organs, muscles and blood. First, you must move in all directions, and then you must rest and nurture yourself whilst the vitality builds.

It’s true Yin and Yang, and I bloomin love it.

After a good Pilates class, Barre or Kettlebells I always feel more energised – then it’s important to rest and recuperate. Breathwork sessions always energise me too, they’re are a true combination of work and rest.

I’ve changed the date to Wednesday 7th June, 6.30-8pm. It’s going to be all about Energy, and how to cultivate it. I might even teach you how to do the ‘Ball of Positive Energy’ Qigong flow – I think you’ll love it.

Our Breathwork last week was just phenomenal, honestly, if you’ve not done a Concious Connected Breathwork session, then you are missing out on some serious deep dives and realisations. Breathwork is one of the best things I’ve ever done.

And, as you know I can now also train you to become a Breathwork Facilitator.

The course I teach is a 400hr, fully accredited 10 month course, covering all aspects of Breathwork (so its very comprehensive and you’re not tied into one method), we cover trauma, anatomy, building your Breathwork Business and loads of other good stuff.

The proof is in the pudding – I’m a living example of how it’s changed my world. Loads of coaches are signing up, as it’s a fast track way to access your clients blocks without all the BS filters in the way.

Yes, the training is an investment, of course you can do cheaper courses, but I’ve seen so many of my colleagues do the cheaper courses and they’re still not confident to run their own sessions.

Classes

My booking system is now working again, so all is well.

I will be running the Bank Holiday classes on 1st and 8th May – so please book on as normal, and as long as there are enough of you I’ll run them.

Beltane Gathering

There are only a few spaces left for this now – we cannot wait.

Saturday 13th May, 4-7pm.

Dawn and I will be bringing Cacao, journeying, drumming, breathing and dancing together and drawing upon the Beltane Spring energy and that of the Fae. Beltane is a traditional fire festival, when the veil is at it’s thinnest – it’s going to be amazing.

Save the date Saturday 15th July – Neil and I are going to be running an outdoor day retreat including gongs, Breathwork, labyrinth walking, tea making, fire ceremony and much more. More news to follow on that soon.
